XFX 9800 GX2 Fan Stops PC Booting
Hello,
My PC has for some reason stopped booting, I'm running an XFX 9800 GX2 (1GB) and all that happens when I try and boot is the fan speed becomes excessive but the system won't boot. I have a Gigabyte 600W PSU and by all tests I have run no issues there. Any other ideas ? Anyone else experienced this issue with their video card ? Cheers !!! |

Re: XFX 9800 GX2 Fan Stops PC Booting
I would be looking for a bigger PSU for that card it uses 197w and thats 36a to 40a on the 12v rail at best your getting 18a from the PSU you have ,you may need to be up to 750w and 60a on the 12 rail with 80%
