help picking a new GPU?
ok so, i have an eVga Ge-Force 9600 gt, and I'm looking to upgrade.
I have around 150-200 to spend, so is there anything really good i can get? I was thinking about the Ge-Force 9800 GTX, how big is the step up from a 9600gt to a 9800 gtx? biggggg difference? thank you -Ryan |

Re: help picking a new GPU?
The difference is worth the Cost/Efficiency ration IMHO, so I would go for the 9800GTX. For the 9800GTX, you would want a least a 700 watt power supply like one of these listed below:
Seasonic – Any Model Corsair – Any Model PC Power & Cooling – Any Model Thermaltake – “Toughpower” Series Only Coolermaster – “Real Power Pro” Series Only

Re: help picking a new GPU?
If you're going to get the 9800GTX, you might as well get the 9800GTX+. It's usually not that much more expensive, and sometimes even cheaper, if you find a model with a rebate. Either way, it's a really good card. Everyone I know who's used it loves its performance.
