Re: graphics problem
Please post back with system temperatures (as reported by a program like Speedfan) and the manufacturer andmodel of your power supply.

Re: graphics problem
Have you checked your video card temperatures? Heat can cause a lot of strange behaviour. Also, if you haven't increased the fan speed, you should do so. Graphics cards have a default fan speed of 30% and that needs to be jacked up a tad. I turn mine up until I can hear it, then back it down a bit, but I don't like noise much. You might need to run it very high when gaming and then lower it when the demands on the card aren't as high. Riva Tuner is a handy utility for doing this. Kind of hard to find the fan speeds though. On the main page where your card is listed, click on the customize button around the middle right of the window and then enable the low level fan control. Then you can move the slider and increase the fan speed. It also has overclocking controls, but don't use them at this time, it increases heat. Try the fan speed and then see how the game reacts. Here's a link for Riva Tuner http://downloads.guru3d.com/download...432a3976bff55a
To just monitor your temps and see fan speed etc. I like GPU-Z, it's a standalone program and doesn't get installed, but runs from wherever it is. Very good for a fast check on the state of your video card. http://www.techpowerup.com/downloads/SysInfo/GPU-Z/

Re: graphics problem
i don't know if it will fix the problem or not
but it will eliminate the problem of it going and possibly taking half or more the computer along with it

Re: graphics problem
Theres no reason why not. Although its always best to follow the QVL for hardware compatibility. The list for your motherboard is here.
Also, buy some case fans to fill any empty slots. They dont cost much but could shave a bit off. Clean the dust out!!
