Enable video port help

I have a Dell Dimensions 4600 running XP with a GeForce FX5200 video card. The video port that comes standard with the computer in dis-abled, so when I go to 'display properties' in the control panel I only see one display on the 'settings' tab.

I'd like to hook up my HDTV to the second port (the TV has computer video input). How do I enable the standard video port so I can have my monitor on the primary display, the HDTV on the secondary display?

Thanks,

KOSTUART

Re: Enable video port help

Check that the primary video controller is set to auto, On that system I think it may be only be capable of using one or the other and not both but make sure it's set to auto and hooked up to monitor when you boot.> http://support.dell.com/support/edoc...up.htm#1139574
