Upgrading to 250mb+ graphics card - need compatibility help

heyyy so i found out i need a new graphics card as systemrequirementslab.com showed for pretty much all the new games that only my graphics card didnt meet the standards, said i have 64mb and i need 256mb or more for some cases.
so heres a segment from my dxdiag;

i was looking forward to getting something like 8800gts or some kind of decent graphics card around $100-$200 AUS
only problem is im not sure which cards are compatible with my computer, its quite small so i dunno if some would even fit :D and also anyone know if its PCI express?
and yeh i bought it like a year ago, no changes to it.
help appreciated :D:D
