nVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT overheating
I just bought a brand new nVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT card, I have an 80mm side case fan blowing in, a 120mm back case fan blowing out, a PCI fan blowing down, a massive heatsink/fan for my CPU (which works awesome), my video card has a built in heatsink/fan and my psu has a fan, but my video card still idles at like 120 degrees and when I play video games it jumps up to 140-150 and crashes my computer. I looked at my card's info in Everest and a saw this "Real Clock 351 MHz (DDR) (original: 350 MHz)". Does this mean my "brand new" card is overclocked?? at any rate how do I cool my card down?

Re: nVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT overheating
I wish my Graphics were that cold!! I would be more inclined to this a software issue. Does It only crash when u play games? Does it just hang and you have to manually press reset button or do u get a BSOD? (blue screen of death?)

Re: nVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT overheating
I hear that "26amps on the 12v+ line" thing quite often but in all honesty I dont know what that means. and as far as the type of crash: I was playing World of Warcraft and all the colors got like really really weird and then my comp slowed to a crawl and by the time i got WoW closed my computer was freezing up and beeping when I pressed buttons so i just flipped the psu power switch lol
