AGP video card upgrade
Looking to upgrade my video card, just can't afford a new system with PCI. Currently I am running a nvidia FX 5950 ultra, but have been looking at the ATI 3850 or the Nvidia 7800 and was wondering which one is best.
Thank you Phil |

Re: AGP video card upgrade
The 3850 is the fastest agp videocard available. However it requires at least a quality 550 to 600w powersupply with at least 18amps on the 12v rail. Also you should fully remove the nvidia drivers with driver cleaner before you install an ati card.
The 7800 is ok but not really that new , nvidia gave up the agp thing at the 7 series.
