Pulled plug out wall after 5 min worked fine again. Three days after that playing R D G again cut again but when he put it on it didnt respond again. Same story but this time when it powered up a bright orange glow came from the card And smoke !!! (switched off Imediatley).Took out the card and saw that ICE's were wer damaged seen on pic. Re: Power Surge Or Poor Quality Build ?
If you have a bad powersupply , like a really bad one , that could have done it. Whats the powersupply make and model and wattage?
In any case you can probably send it back and get a new one.

Re: Power Surge Or Poor Quality Build ?
The power supply you have (raidmax 530w Volcano Mudular) simply is not big enough or powerful enough to supply the needs of this video card which is a very power hungry card. If this were my machine, I would be putting a 750 watt power supply like one of the following in there:
Corsair 750-TX-750 watt Thermaltake Toughpower 750 watt PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 watt Coolermaster Real Power Pro 750 watt An underpowered struggling power supply can damage other computer components.

Re: Power Surge Or Poor Quality Build ?
The Raidmax = very poor quality power supply could have damaged your video card. There ae no guarantees that has happened, but quite possible since a weak or underpowered supply can damage ram, motherboard, CPU, video card...and, the list goes on. I just don't think there is even a great power supply (which Raidmax is not) of 520 watts could pull that video card for you without consequences. The simple fact is that if you run underpowered, then you risk ruining computer components.
