OS: windows xp


wierd error - help please
this has happened twice, both times in different games. Nothing seems to happen, just this error comes up , it says:

Then i get a wierd X over the fan speed or temperatue gauges in CCC (im runnin duo 4870s)

Ill post the pics of the X's later - what does this mean?

Check to see if the fan is running on the card.
If it looks ok then try uninstalling and reinstalling the video drives in VGA mode by tapping F8 on reboot and disabling any a/virus and Anti malware software.

Some users have reported wierd errors while running dual 4870's.
I have some issues with my 4670 (single card) on older games and have been to
amd/ati's support page and even posted here but have recieved no help.
Let's hope it's an issue with the driver and that amd/ati are working on it.
