Sapphire Radeon HD4870X2 second core not enabled, Help
hello guys,

btw i downloaded GPU-Z and heres are the info's :
GPU 1 : http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/08/11/11/cvf.png GPU 2 : http://gpuz.techpowerup.com/08/11/11/guc.png now, as you see the second gpu is downclocked w00t?! i have no idea why it is downclocked.... need serious help here guys also, what does "ATI crossfire enabled (2GPUs) , sideport off" mean? And also in my ati overdrive section it shows that the GPU activity is: 524% So ***? my GPU is totally ****** up? Last edited by seeker991; 11-11-2008 at 04:10 PM. |

Download the catalyst drivers (8.11) that'll cure the activity bug.
Enable catalyst AI to use both gpu's. It is down clocked untill you enter a 3d app that supports crossfire. The new drivers downclock both cores when in 2d mode, therefor keeping the gpu nice and cool. Everything runs fine once you start a game though.
