OS: Vista Premium 32bit

Disabling shared memory.

Hi i recently posted a thread asking about optimizing my vista to a program i use called poser 7, here is a link explaining that.

Poser 7 and vista

A very helpfull FreddyHard suggested asking you guys for some help as my Nvidia Controll panel dosent have the option to disable shared memory.

Here is Freddyhards quote,

"" I would not be clued in enough to video cards to easily tell you more. i had a video card that used system memory, but at the time it needed it and that was over 2 years ago. i just don't remember.
i'd suggest starting a thread specifying the system and explaining that you want to disable the shared memory option. this might need to be done at the BIOS level, but i'd guess it can be done using the OS.""

I am using Vista home premium 32bit and all my updates are current. My system is :- PackBell Core2 quad Q6600 2.40Ghz 3 gig of ram, 500 gig HD and an Nvidia Geforce 8400GS with a dedicated 256mb onboard memory 1.5 gig shared.

Hope you can help,

Regards, Vale.
