pink color on monitor
hello everyone!!
I am having a problem with my screen I think that the problem is related to the monitor since the screen turns pink suddenly and it stays like that for a very long time sometimes it will turn back to normal but it has become annoying any idea to make sure that the monitor is the faulty part, unfortunately i do not have another monitor to test with and my monitor has the VGA cable attach to it so cannot swap with another one :s any suggestions will be highly appreciated. thanks in advance :D

Re: screen flickers with Nvida video card
yes a bad VGA cable can give this ,look at it to see if you'v bent it or cut ,if you have friend you can test it with thier computer ,check that your card has not moved in the MOBO ,look for dust and fluff in side the computer and on the heatsinks and fans ,unplug it from the wall before you go in side !!!!

Re: screen flickers with Nvida video card
Quote:
well actually i separated the two of them because it is on different computers the one that has the Nvidia video card is a clon computer that is the one that the screen flickers black and comes back suddenly many times during usage and the pink monitor is a LCD monitor that is working on an integrated video card this is just to clarify i will also try the other monitor option and it agree it might be the cable but cannot test it since it is attach to the monitor I think i will end up replacing the monitor on this computer but i really would like to fix the problem with the video card when it flickers it could be that the video card went bad or just a problem with the driver, any other idea thanks to all that have helped out so far
