Monitor Help
There is probably already a thread dealing with my problem but I looked through them and could not find anything. After installing SP3 my monitor has just gone wack. I now have 2 inches of black on either side and a couple of black lines about a half inch in size going through the desltop. The outsides of my desktop are also not straight but curvy. I have tried everything I could. I replaced the video card. I've downloaded new drivers. I have looked for help at Microsoft. Can anyone help me with this or give me an idea of what is going on? Thank you very much.............aloha

Re: Monitor Help
After SP3 update you have to reload some drivers and reset some options.
Right-click My Computer, select Manage, select Device Manager on left, on right expand [+] Monitors and see what monitor is listed. If it says Plug and Play Monitor (WinXP Default) you MAY want to update the driver to your actual Monitor. Example, at home, my monitor is listed as ViewSonic V9200. IF you update the driver or not, go back to your Desktop Properties. Verify/change ALL settings, especially the Settings tab, [Advanced], Monitor tab. You MAY also have to reset your monitor's settings, the one on the monitor itself.
