Not sure if ATI X700PRO is dead
Hello all! First time poster long time lurker :3
I have been having some issues with a 2 year old x700 pro AGP 256MB card I have. I'm not so sure if its dead or not. I remember one day playing CSS, then shutting my PC off and the next day, no monitor signal or anything! The video card cuts on, or so I believe, as the fan spins at full speed, but nothing displays. I have in my AGP slot right now a FX5200 128MB so I'm pretty sure its not the Mobo, BIOS, or the slot in general. I'm assuming its a power issue more than likely as I have a 400W PSU, but it can't be as it held up perfectly with the 400W until now. I'm pretty stuck now, some useful assistance is needed, please and thanks! John<3 |
