Via SG3 UniChrome Driver
Well, as you can guess this driver sucks. Yes its a very old model I'm sure of it. I'm taking a gander that starting a new thread for a "specific" model of PC and video card it okay? Well, here's the problem: WoW doesn't work as it always had, yes I know its an unsupported card but, reason lead me to believe I can still play again, TEMPORARILY, I am about to buy a new video card, (definitely).
Problems: 1. Any way to temporarily play WoW with this unsupported video card? 2. How would I go about getting a new video card? Like e.g; When you buy a ram, you buy the stick according to a SPECIFIC model of your PC, does that apply to video/graphic cards as well? 3. Costs? Location of cards? I have a budget of about $40-$50 bucks. I don't mind getting a minimum requirement for a card but, as long as it can play WoW with no problems. Re: Via SG3 UniChrome Driver
You will need an AGP 4x/8x video card a straight 8x won't
It also appears your pc came with a 250w power supply you will most likely need to upgrade for anything more then lower end video cards. http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/d...product=424215 Cards http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...nd&Order=PRICE |

Re: Via SG3 UniChrome Driver
Alright so I decided to get the:
ASUS AH3450/HTP/256M Radeon HD 3450 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X HDCP Ready Low Profile Video Card - Retail or PNY VCG62256AEB GeForce 6200 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 AGP 4X/8X Video Card - Retail So either of these will work, am I correct? Well, thanks a lot! I'll probably buy one of these next weekend or something. I hope they work! Thanks again! |

Re: Via SG3 UniChrome Driver
Either one will work as long as you upgrade that power supply.
