how to get 2 graphics card working together

ok i not very good at this but i have a AMD athlon(tm) 64 X2 dual core processor 4200+ 2.21 GHz, 960 MB ram and i have a inbuilt graphics card a nvidia 6150 and i have an old geforce mx 2 now first off i want to know if i put the mx 2 in will it make much difference? and if so how do i do it? no money so no new stuff to go out and buy anyhelp would be very much appreciated iam not very computer minded thx.

Remove all vid drivers
Disable the Onboard video card ( Device Manager )
Insert the MX card into the appropriate slot
Boot up in safe mode
disable anti virus
Install Drivers
Reboot into normal mode


However, There will not be a big enough increase to notice a huge difference

I would stick with your onboard video. That geforce 2 is bout 5 years older then your onboard video.
