[SOLVED] 9800GTX 2-way SLI Power Consumption
I Have A PC With These specs;
AMD Athlonx2 5000+ 2GB DDR2 800MHZ RAM Geforce 8600GT 160gb SATA2 HDD DVD WR I was wondering could i upgrade to 2 Geforce 9800GTX's in sli with a 600 watt PSU Any help would be much apreaciated ![]() ![]() OO and my Motherboard is an Asus M2N-SLI

I have a 98GTX on a thermaltake toughpower 650W.
What brand is your PSU? The 98GTX really needs more than 650 (usually 700-750ish), but my 650 should hold it over for bout 2 more years.

For proper support: what are you running? graphics, cpu, m/board, ram, PSU brand wattage PCI-E requires 26 amps at 12 volts. That's a 650W PSU. Power Supply Info and Selection . Info on thermal compounds & application . TEST PSU USING MULTI-METER . Bench Testing Your System |
