What card for my so-so cpu
I have an Intel Pentium 4 3.00 GHz processor. I was looking into getting a new video card, like the GeForce 8500 or 8600. But I read that a more powerful video card wont improve performance very greatly if your CPU can't keep up. Will my CPU be able to keep up with either of these cards? and also are these even where I should be looking for the >$100 rage?

Depending on your power supply the 8600GT or GTS with 512 of DDR3 ram on the card will be fine, yoo would want a quality 500- 550w for either card.
