nVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS

Hey I just got this new graphics card from Gigabyte(it says graphics by nVIDIA tho) and when I put it in and plug the montior in, I get these random colors going up and down the screen, its not a monitor problem cause I tested it on my TV. same thing.

What are you putting the card if it's a branded PC like Dell or HP brand and model, or motherboard, power supply brands and models?

the computer is by NEC and it has intel chip set or something like that.

Is ther a model on the NEC?
Did you install the video drivers for the card?

I cant install the drivers, because I cant see anything...
its just heaps of weird colours...

What Power Supply co you have there should be a label inside the case on the side of the psu.
Is it a AGP, PCI or PCIE card?

Did you find a Model number on the PC?
