Bad 3dMark Score ATI HD 4870

I scored around 13,350... I am running an ATI Radeon HD 4870 512mb GDDR5... Asus P5Q pro motherboard, Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.66ghz.. 300gb velociraptor 10kRPM hard drive... 4 gigs of DDR2 PC8800 RAM.. Antec 1000 watt PSU that is ATI/Nvidia certified.. 64-bit Vista home..

I have tried all drivers.. changed my fan speeds.. MY CPU scores were kind of low as well and I just built the computer.. first build.. something I do wrong perhaps?

Try ending cpu intensive programs like anti viruses and so on , have it only doing 3d mark.

Re: Bad 3dMark Score ATI HD 4870

Hhehehe anyone know how stable the Q9400 quad core is? Capable of OC'ing to at least 3.2ghz? Currently have stock cpu cooler but it stays pretty cool. Oh and my ram is PC8800 which is 1100mhz. My computer I think reads it as 800mhz.. anyway to check my to see if its running at advertised speed? and my GPU is overclocked. ATI comes with overclocking app. Have it set to 790mhz (GPU clock) and 1100mhz(core clock) running around 50C under load at most.. under 40C idle with fan at 40%. Get back to me I want to crank this badboy =)
