Graphics card can run WoW but not TF2?

So yeah my card (ATI Mobility Radeon 9000/9100) can easily handle WoW but when I installed Team Fortress and tried to play it it told me that my computer can't handle it because I need a pixel shader of at least 1.1 which I for sure have. So any sort of help would really be appreciated. Thanks!

How are you sure it does? If this is your card: http://ati.amd.com/products/Mobility...000/index.html then unfortunately it is much too old for newer games. Sorry mate.

The GPU is massively underpowered for modern games. A toaster could play WOW, that is why you are able to play that and not TF2. Nothing to do with registration or drivers in this case. It is a DX8.1 integrated graphics card, never designed for modern 3D rendering.

bigfella is 100% correct, im kinda tired and on a laptop at a wedding so i cant really think too clearly, but bigfella is correct, and your graphics card driver should be reinstalled sinceit says somethings missing anyways

Zombeast, with respect, you don't know what you are talking about. The graphics card does not have the physical hardware requirements that are needed to run modern games. Simple as that. No driver, software or anything else will help, and it cannot be upgraded. The shader model missing is not something you can install. Unfortunately, this requires a new computer/latptop.

i was just saying to keep the current one running smoothly with WoW he should update his drivers, i have had so many problems with video cards, but if it says something is missing, it wont hurt to update the driver
