Universal video adapter? (VC section)
I posted this in other hardware section and there was no answer, so let me try here.
This started out like this. I have this laptop which I want to plug in my HDTV. The laptop has a vga port. I could get a vga to component or vga to s-video cable to make this work. However, I was wondering if there was some kind of adapter that will solve all my future video cable problems. Like for example, I have this hard drive cable where one end is USB for plugging in to the computer and the other end have 2.5" and 3.5" IDE and SATA connectors, which lets me connect to any kind of HDD. Is there something similar with video cable where I can make connections like vga to dvi, vga to s-video, vga to component, dvi to s-video, dvi to component, component to s-video, etc... Perhaps even vga to usb, dvi to usb, component to usb or s-video to component, but I don't think those exist. |
