Hey everybody, I want to run Dual Monitors on my Dell Optiplex GX280 (I know it's not the best)
It's XP SP2 Home Edition System Model: OptiPlex GX280 Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.40GHz Memory: 1014MB RAM I've got an Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family with Display Memory of 128.0 MB. My Monitor is a HP L1940 19". Capable of running up to 1600 X 1200. MY Specs are in a text file and can be downloaded from here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=ZW716SW3 Basically, I went out and bought a DVI to VGA adapter and a 2nd VGA to VGA cable for the monitor. I am sure both monitors work with both cables as I have switched and the likes and they both work. I have tried setting it up in the graphics options, but it says there is not a 2nd monitor connected. My graphics card has a VGA ports and a DVI port, so I connected the DVI to VGA adapter and thus now have two monitors hooked up to the card through two VGA Ports. But it is not registering that 2 are hooked up, only one. The Second Monitor is just sitting on the table here, plugged in, hooked up, but asleep and when it turn it on it says "VGA Input: No Input Signal; Dvi Input: No Input Signal" What am I to do? Hope to get this problem fixed asap. Thanks guys |

Re: Video Card Help Please
Which video card do you have?
The Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family with Display Memory of 128.0 MB is an onboard chip set which I believe will not support dual monitors. |
