Desktop issue

I have been having a problem with my monitor not displaying the proper resolution, at least i think that is the issue. I have a samsung sync master 215tw and an ati 1300pro. The issue is my desktop is larger than my monitor supports and that when i bring my mouse to the side of my desktop it scrolls showing the rest of it I am not sure if this is a problem with my monitor or my graphics card. This is happening when i set the destop resolution to 1680*1050 which is the native resolution for the monitor another odd thing is when i set the resolution to 1600*1200 their is no problem.

Re: Desktop issue

Do you have the drivers for your video card installed?

I found a post that may help you. Seems that there is a problem sometimes with the native resolution of that monitor not being picked up.
