Gaming Display Grid Glitch

So for a long while now I've been just playing through this issue but now its really starting to bug me. Whenever I play high detail games (LOTRO, EQ, Vanguard, Neverwinter Nights etc. . .) I get this white dotted grid display over the entire screen. Now this doesn't show up in 3d design programs (Zbrush, maya etc. . . ), it appears its just when there's a game engine involved. I just reformatted my computer so even with fresh drivers, clean install etc. . . the problem still persists.

Here's what I'm talking about.

It looks subtle there, but when in game it gets horrid. Bright white dotted grids cover alot of geometry.

Computer info: Windows XP x64 (just changed from x32 so its a problem on both), 4 GB ram, Geforce 8600 GTS Pci Express. Dual LCD monitors, one is Gateway and one is HP. Problem happens on both. I run my computer in 3d programs like maya really heavy and it preforms phenominally, just when I enter games does it hurt.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated. Please cure my headache.
Thanks in advance

Re: Gaming Display Grid Glitch

Hey man, seeing as your still checking in I'll get off my lazy *** and try a different video card, as that's what I suspect it is.

Yea that seemed to fix my issue. Strange how the mods have not replied yet, their usually pretty fast. Must be on vacation or something. Well hope this helped.

Re: Gaming Display Grid Glitch

The one I replaced that was having the problem was an ATI600 pro. I don't think we have ever had a problem with any of the geforce gpus. They are great cards imo.
