asking information about graphics proccessing unit (GPU)
hi,
i am electronics engineering student and i want some information about GPU for my studies i want information regarding to following queries and in detail 1) what is GPU? (basic terms) 2)architecture of GPU (basic terms) 3)why dedicated GPU is needed while intgrated graphics is present? 4)impact of API on GPU. where should i get this information? i tried wiki but it very vast and lenghthy |

Try nVidia and ATI/AMD.
