dual nvidia geforce go 7900gs problem

quick spec:

amd turon 2.4 ghz (running at 1.6 for some reason????)
2 x 512mb nvidia geforce go 7900gs (not pair together, and dont know how)
2 x 1gb ram

ok i have an alienware laptop and have had it for about 2 years, about 6 months ago i gave it a good formatting to clean it of the 18 month build up of shite.

so the problems are the processor and pairing the graphics cards, any ideas?

Re: dual nvidia geforce go 7900gs problem

Hi,
Your Turon 2.4Ghz will be running at 1.6Ghz to save power. When it needs to run faster, it will.

Download all the drivers for your laptop from alienware and install the Chipset driver first and then the video drivers etc.

I do not have a clue what you mean by this....

Re: dual nvidia geforce go 7900gs problem

It's the same website. Alienware. The makers of the Aurora M9700.
If they don't have the proper drivers then there's not much hope.

Have you searched the site for instructions, tips etc? Do you have your laptop manual and users guide?
