Problems with Asus fx5200 AGP card

Not sure if I disable something when installing my card it worked, then I removed existing diver for on board video on my Biostar motherboard. I re-booted computer and now there is no video when Windows XP suppose to come on. I'm wondering if I can use the restore to get back where I started to fix the problem, open for any other answers on this.

Re: Problems with Asus fx5200 AGP card

The basic mistake you made is removing the on-board driver BEFORE disabling it in BIOS Setup.

Go into your BIOS Setup and disable the on-board first, then WinXP will not see it.

Note, this is a general rule for ANY on-board card or function. You have to disable in BIOS before trying to remove in WinXP Device Manager.
