Cry artifacts, Nvidia GeForce 6600GT

i started getting these artifacts (http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...t=untitled.jpg) (http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e2...=untitled2.jpg). can u please help me out.

after cleaning the CPU fan, i played warrock for about 15 mins.. then all of a sudden the screen was filled with dots and other artifacts.

my graphics card is Nvidia GeForce 6600GT, xp professional sp2,

what are you running
video card
cpu
m/board
ram
power supply
brand
wattage

any error message
check your tempretures and voltages in the bios and post them

in the device manager uninstall the video card
reboot tapping f8 and choose vga mode
when windows finishes rebooting
disable a/virus
install your drivers
reboot the computer

try the card in another computer to check if it is the card that's gone

sir, is there any program that i could run and copy the contents here, which gives out all the hardware specifications that u r asking for. coz i am a total stranger to all these. i wud be happy to run some program that lists out all the computer specifications.. kindly reply... thank you
