Comfirmed My video card causes my computer sudden shutdown when playing game
I got an Ati 9600 Serieswith Windows Xp Sp3, My computer is no problem when playing game with no video card install . Since I installed the video card, my computer is sudden shutdown when playing 3D games.
I have tried the following method : 1. updated the latest display driver 2. updated the latest directx 9.0c 3. Format My computer What kind of problem to the video card ???

Hi,
did you uninstall your previous display drivers before adding your new video card? If not, you will have to uninstall ALL display/video drivers from Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel. Disable any anti-virus software, restart and cancel windows searching for drivers, then install your new video card drivers and restart again. Then configure your your display settings. |
