Problem WITH A PlayTVXpress Card

I just bought a PixelView PayTVXpress Card, I installed it following the instructions, rebooted and everything was going smooth but when it comes to run the tv program (VentiTV) the program runs but then it doesn't show anything on screen...

My laptop is an Acer Aspire 5520 with a Nvidia GeForce7000M with 4 GB of RAM, running windows vista but when I bought the tv tuner card it said in the box its vista certified but yet it isn't working and I don't know what it is wrong.

Any help will be very appreciated!

have you plugged an ariel into it
i cannot find the paytvxpress only the playtvxpress

Haha you're right its not a PayTVXpress sorry, bad spelling....

About pluging an ariel... you mean a cable antenna or composite wires into the card? because if that is what you mean sure I did, I tried pluging my video camera but nothing, so then I tried my tv cable and nothing... tried FM radio antenna and nothing... tried supervideo and nothing... in few words: nothing seems to be working

. I tried installing it in another laptop I have but that has XP installed and it didn't work neither so I'm starting to think that probably the card is physically damaged from factory

so I'm bringing it back to the vendor to let them change it along with my laptop so I can test the new hardware to be working correctly...

Anyways if you know any reason for which it isn't working and how to fix it I will appreciate it a lot!

is the card seen by the device manager,is there any yellow alongside of it
