No Display (EVGA 8800GTX)

Just started having a problem today - - on boot, nothing outputs to the display. No beep codes are given from the motherboard, but the monitor just sits there and proudly announces "No Input". I've tried both outputs from the video card, and...nothing. Not the usual suspect (insufficient power supply), as I have an 800W unit in there.

Anybody have ideas as to what's causing this? Really, really hoping it's not the $500+ video card

well, you'll be glad to know that GPU is now in the $200 bracket. Lovely, huh?

Are you trying to use DVI or VGA? Have you tried another graphics adapter?

For proper support: what are you running? video card, cpu, m/board, ram, power supply, brand, wattage, any error message?
PCI-E requires 26 amps at 12 volts. That's a 650W PSU.

Re: No Display (EVGA 8800GTX)

Actually, I've solved it - - I accidentally nailed one of the power connectors (the 6-pin ones) while I was screwing around inside the case yesterday. Put that back in and we're good to go.

Thanks, though
