Re: 8800 Gtx Bsod

Operating System: Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp_sp2_gdr.070227-2254)
Language: English (Regional Setting: Japanese)
System Manufacturer: OEM
System Model: OEM
BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs)
Memory: 2046MB RAM
Page File: 268MB used, 2648MB available
Windows Dir: C:\WINDOWS
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

ABIT IP35 Intel ATX motherboard

NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GTX

If checking the power supply becomes necessary I'll find out the wattage but at the moment I can't remember and don't know how to check without finding the user's manual or opening my machine. I would find it difficult to think of it as a power supply problem, or an overheating problem, being that it was working fine so recently without any changes to the machine.

I'm getting IRQL_not_less_than_or_equal error with
BCCode : 1000000a BCP1 : 00000016 BCP2 : 0000001C BCP3 : 00000000
BCP4 : 804FA11E OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 2_0 Product : 768_1
Thanks for any help.

Re: 8800 Gtx Bsod

you just take the side off the case and look at the label on the side of the psu
reinstall directx and see if that makes a difference
