Re: video capture & internet movies in TV

This is an Internet/IE issue, you have to have software (movie player) that can stream video, then access a site that streams TV.

Some sites require you load their proprietary software to view TV, others do not and will tell you what you need. Some of these sites co$t. Some let you watch live-TV.

Example; A&E WEB site has videos of shows, but require you to download a special Movie Viewer (actually an IE plugin) that is free.

The one requirement ALL these have, you must have broadband Internet connection.

Re: video capture & internet movies in TV

To get the movie to play on your TV from your computer you will need either an S video output or a HDMI if both your computer and TV support HDMI Your Laptop may have am S video port on it what brand and model is it?
Also brand and model of your PC and if it has a Video Card the Brand and Model of that.

Re: video capture & internet movies in TV

What brand and model is your PC?
Does your TV have either an HDMI or an Svideo connector?

Re: video capture & internet movies in TV

Apparently you do have a video card in the picture that's where your monitor is hooked up, where does the S Video cable go that hooked to your PC now?
I believe you could use something like this to hook the S video on the PC to the the RCA plug on the back of your TV. http://www.cablestogo.com/product.as...2012&sku=27990
And yes you will need a video capture card to get the movies from tape to the PC
