Graphic Card Problem
I came home from vecation and plugged my cmputer in again, after 2 weeks. I turned my computer on, but the screen just said "ATTENTION: NO VIDEO INPUT" Then i just plugged the monitor to the motherboard, but now i'm stuck with a sucky screen resolution, and i cant play games
Every time i try to plug the monitor into the videocard, it just says the sameI'm using NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS with a DVI to VGA converter on it, and the a VGA cable to the monitor. If you need any other information, just say it and i'll give you it. Hope you can help me. |

Re: Graphic Card Problem
There are alot of possiblities in your situation. Like the mainboard cannot detect your main graphic card, the card not properly inserted, weakened PSU which may not load up your graphic card properly. You can check if your mainboard detects your graphic card by seeing if the card's name appears (POST) before the OS loads or by going into BIOS settings.
Just my 2 cents worth of opinion. Sry if it does not help. |
