Abit error
Hi,
Earlier today, my computer simply stopped booting, the green light would go on, but no start up beep would sound, and it wouldn't get to POST or anything like that. Called my computer guy, he recommended cleaning the RAM, resetting CMOS and maybe changing the Battery. These things I did, purchasing a new battery entirely. Now, however, when I start up, I at least get BIOS beep codes of 1 long, two short. This is apparently a video card or monitor error. I reopened my computer to find the video card still perfectly in place but am still unable to boot. This computer has worked fine (aside dust troubles) for 5 years now. Thanks ZC |
