Abit error

Hi,

Earlier today, my computer simply stopped booting, the green light would go on, but no start up beep would sound, and it wouldn't get to POST or anything like that. Called my computer guy, he recommended cleaning the RAM, resetting CMOS and maybe changing the Battery.

These things I did, purchasing a new battery entirely.

Now, however, when I start up, I at least get BIOS beep codes of 1 long, two short. This is apparently a video card or monitor error. I reopened my computer to find the video card still perfectly in place but am still unable to boot.

Relevant information
Mobo : Abit AG8-V i915p 800mhz FSB Dual DDR400 PCI Express SATA ATA100 GbE LAN USB2.0 6Ch uGuru ATX
CPU : Intel Pentium 4 530 Processor, 3.0ghz clock speed, hyper-threading, socket LGA775 FSB 800mhz 1MB L2 Cache
Video : ABIT Radeon rx600 pro-hdtv 256mb with HDTV VIVO DVI VGA PCi Express x16 interface

Can anyone help me diagnose what is going on? This computer has worked fine (aside dust troubles) for 5 years now.

Thanks
ZC
