tv on computer

hi can anyone advise if i am able to watch tv on my computer,
i have a video card:- geforce 6600 256mb ddr+dvi/tv pci-x

No , you will need a tv tunner card.

or a video card with vivo. it's clearer than coax, but it only works with svid or composite.

There is also a nice bit of freeware you could use. Its called 'Zattoo' and it's got quite a few channels to view. I live in England and I'm not sure it works in the States but you should check it out. Here's the link:

I'm pretty sure it will work with your comp, but I'm not great with that stuff so... who knows?
