Re: Graphics Problems

Did you ever play these same games before?
Do the requirements of the game exceed the specs you have?

Re: Graphics Problems

Ok lets see what your working with. If you would:
Go to Start > Run > Type in "dxdiag" without the quotes.
Post a screen shot of the System Tab and the Display Tab.

How to Post a Screen Shot

Re: Graphics Problems

Well I believe the problem here is that you are running a Generic Video driver
Did this laptop come with XP originally ? If so do you have the driver disks?

Re: Graphics Problems

The only video driver download I found on the Toshiba site also requires a bios flash using a floppy drive I don't recommend doing a Bios flash if you've never done one, If done incorrectly on a laptop it can require a motherboard replacement to repair.
I do however see that you only have 256 meg of ram installed I would suggest that first you add another 256meg of ram as it holds 512 max. I'm not sure where you're at but everything I've found on this model has been in the UK.
