Well its pci-e 2.0 , for the price its not to bad but not sure if your mobo supports pci-e 2.0.

From what i was looking at with the info you gave, you need a pic-ex16 card. I'd avoid the 8600gt series though, tbh. They're notoriously hot cards and your tower doesn't really have a lot of room inside it to allow air flow over the card. If you do get the 8600gt, get this to go with it:

That aftermarket fan will keep the card a heck of a lot cooler than the low-profile fan and sink that come with the cards. After a lot of work on mine, i got it to idle at 50c and it only goes up to about 63c under load, which is a lot better than the 90c i used to get with it.

That's what i have, the $40 for the extra sink and fan is the best investment you can make though. You should have no problems running this card for a while, unless you need to play games like Crysis on max settings.
