Upgrading a 4 year old Dell XPS gen2
I have a Dell XPS gen2 desktop with the following components:
Processor: Pentium 4 - 3.0 Ghz single core Memory: 2 Gb DDR SDRAM Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128 Mb I'm considering upgrading my memory to 4 Gb and possibly getting a new graphics card. I opened up my case and looked at my power supply, which says: 240W, 460W max. Without upgrading to a new power supply, what are some of my graphics card options? I can't seem to find power specs on graphics cards online at newegg. Would it be worth it to upgrade my graphics card ? My goal is to be able to play Star Craft 2 when it comes out. I just spent a lot of money on a carbon fiber road bike and can't afford a whole new computer. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.Max |
