I expect so, most motherboards have an upgrade slot or two. Please supply more information, this should include your motherboards make and model, power supply (make and model) and your central processor (CPU)

Re: If i have an integrated graphics card...

You have PCIe x16 slot available. This means you can use pretty much any PCIe x16 card that your power supply can handle. Meaning, if you want anything more powerful than for example an ATI Radeon x600, you should also consider buying a power supply in excess of 600w providing at least 35A on the 12V rail(s). Your case is BTX too, so note this when searching.

Re: If i have an integrated graphics card...

keep in mind your mobo is PROBABLY only PCIe 1.0, maybe 1.1. (not sure how often dell updates/changed chhipsets)

so the 8600 may not work with your board. I'll let a smarter person than I confirm this. I want to guess the 8600 is a 1.1 card but not for sure.

Re: If i have an integrated graphics card...

yea the 8600 series will work with any pci-e slot. But yes the psu probably won't hold out long. A quality 450 to 500w should do it.

Re: If i have an integrated graphics card...

Never mind , he has a 305w power supply according to dell.com.

For the 8600 you WILL need a better power supply , 450 to 500w with 26a on the 12v rail. the one dai recommended would be good. If you don't want to buy a power supply you will need to go with a low end card like the 8400.
