9800 GX2, turning off SLI

I believe that there are a couple of computer programs that would run better on my system if I disabled SLI, but I'm not sure how to go about doing this. Can anyone help me out?

it should be in your gfx card control panel. under 3d settings it should say "sli configuration" you can turn it off there.

In the Nvidia Control Panel select the menu "Set Multi-GPU Configuration". You will have two options. To disable SLI select "Multi Display Mode" for SLI select "Multi-GPU mode".
A restart is required if you go from Multi-display to Multi-GPU, but not the other way.

The 9800GX2 has internal SLI, so there is actually no SLI option for the card. Unless you have 2 in which they will run in Quad SLI.
I was not trying to shadow you its just that penguoctopus may of posted back with "There is no SLI option. No offense to the both of you..
