Guys whats the normal operating temp of 9800GX2? Mine is running about 60C in idle, without playing games or watching a video. But when Im playing CRYSIS it goes up around 80C. Is it normal like that? My casing is a 3d aurora 570 with lots of fan and ample space....

Re: Normal Temp. 9800gx2 ?
That's VERY hot. You might consider getting a video card cooler.
You may wish to check and make sure the fan on the video card is actually working properly. |

Re: Normal Temp. 9800gx2 ?
For video cards actually, thats quite normal. Some 8800GT models actually run at 90C while playing games and they run fine. 80C is nothing to worry about. You might wanna download rivatuner though and up the fan speed as it is probably running at about only 30% at the moment.
Hope that helps! |
