4850 ati cards and what I need?

I currently have:
BFG 8800gts 320 mb OC
AMD 6000+
m2n sli Deluxe
750 watt corsair PSU
Creative Audigy soundcard
1 x 320gig, 1 x 750gig hard drives
2x LG 16xDVD Burners
6 cooling fans
- 5x 120 mm fans
- 1x 200 mm fan

now I was wondering about crossfire/sli for now I think I may just buy one 4850 card and if my motherboard can handle ATI products???
this is where I shop for parts the card is = $203 (dirt cheap for awesome card)

P.S. In about a year or less I will be upgrading to 780i or higher M/B

You should not mix ati and nvidia products. It can have weird and bad results. Stick with nvidia cards. Nvidia motherboards also do not support crossfire.

That particulat board is garbage. If you've managed to keep in running more than 2 weeks I'm impressed.

You can mix nVidia motherboards and ATI video cards but you can't do CrossFire on an nVidia motherboard.

When the nvidia boards have integrated nvidia video then they create problems with ati cards. There just not happy working with eachother. If it doesn' it might be ok.
