ATI Rad9000 Secondary Black screen

Hi all, thanks for reading and possibly helping. I have a local not big brand machine, with an ATI Rad 9000 card. The sole purpose is running dual outputs, one to a video projector, the other to the desktop.

We recently had a problem with the computer, and the input board on the projector. We got the projector fixed, and reloaded the OS on the PC. This brought us to SP3 (we were on SP2). I am now just testing with two monitors and the secondary monitor is only black. The PC recognizes that there are two monitors connected to it controls power on/off functions correctly but only shows a black screen (if this makes sense it is a generated black screen, not like the monitor is off). Currently I have:

- Updated the ATI drivers (loaded Catalyst 8.5 for ATI)
- Backed down to SP2
- Tried several different set-ups

Still nothing works... any suggestions of what to try? Thanks ahead of time for any help.
