first checkout wether ur MB has a AGP SLOT or a PCI EXPRESS slot...
if u hve d PCI express slot than thts gud...as dey hve u d best performance... though i dont know abt ati cards... but in nvidia go for the fx6800 or the series above tht....as per ur requirements |

Post the make and model of your pc. This will dictate what card you will get.
Also stealth_m_3 , You should really pay attention to your spelling and grammar , I had a tough time reading that.

It's a Dell Inspiron 531 - one PCIE_x16 slot.
