INtegrated Video Problems

Hi,

I am working on an old pc for a friend (PB Club 60 with integrated video). When PC is switched on power is coming through and the OS is starting up. I know this as it is Win 98 because when it is finished booting up I am able to shut it down using the keyboard. However there is no video and I suspect there is a problem with the integrated video. Is there any way of testing it to verify that that is where the problem lies??

Thanks

Re: INtegrated Video Problems

First check another monitor. Then, if you have multiple RAM modules, remove one at a time. Next, you would need to try another video card.

Re: INtegrated Video Problems

Thanks, tried another monitor though - same problem. Couldn't get hold of a video card so I took another look at the video outlet and noticed it was loose. Fiddled about with it, plugged back in the cable and presto - working again. But I'll need to get a video card all the same.
