video card doesn't support opengl?
hi everybody, im having a problem with my geforce 6800 video card.
when i try to open opengl based games it says ![]() the problem is that i have all the actualizations for my video card, even that forceware actualization ![]() and then i cheked on everest software, i realized that i dont even have opengl!! ![]() someone have any solution to this please?!? pd: what im trying to run is pump it up prex 3, i remember that in my other computers that have an integrated video card runs perfectly well! |

According to nVidia GeForce 6800 driver = 175.16
Note, on their Driver Download starting page there is an Option 2 that will read your system and return the driver page. Also, I noted that one game I had came up with the same error, but the msg was incorrect, it was for OpenAL (sound driver), which my on-board RealTek A97 does not support. The problem could be with the games, they do not recognize the GeForce 6800 as an OpenGL card, it's just too new. These games just check the card and NOT if the OpenGL drivers are loaded. Check with the game's Tech Support.
