Agp Video Card help needed

I have a Dell Optiplex GX260 desktop and i bought a VisionTek Radeon X1550 XGE 512MB agp video card for it because the computer does not support PCIe.
I am not sure but i think my computer only has a 4X AGP slot, and the video card is an 8X AGP. Will i still be able to run the card on my computer?

Thanks in advance,

NJ

Re: Agp Video Card help needed

newbeejoe,

I don't believe this card is AGP 4X backward compatible. You can try it in your PC, but I'm pretty sure you need a PC with 8X AGP capability.
