Problem with a PNY Verto 6600 AGP 8x

Hello fellows, im new in this forum and i espect to help and receive all the help i need, i normally dont post things on forums but i really need help with this:

I got a problem with my old video card, i tried to install it in the backup PC, and i got the following error, the PC wont boot or show any sign of life, only shows a black screen, you can hear the bip sound of the pc when starts but noghing else, sometimes the PC does boot and start windows, and u can hear the Log In sound but still got a black screen, i tried changing the Power Supply of the Case to see if there was a electric power issue and nothing, i dont know what to do, the videocard should be working perfectly i cant believe it just died like that...

Welcome to tsf. The card probably does work or the pc would not boot. Make sure your agp video settings are right in the bios and that it is not set to search for a pci video card.

Why not use the 6200? It could just be the 6600 is just not working anymore.

Totally agree, you need at least 450W with the +12V rail pulling 18A for the 6600.
